The second demo session of "Chip Power 2021" touched on sectors dominated by international players and China is trying to catch up.

The 2^nd demo session of the "Chip Power 2021" was held successfully on April 22, with four companies presenting their businesses related to EDA, Mixed Signal IC, RF PA, and photoelectric sensing – sectors dominated by international players and China is trying to catch up.

The "Chip Power" demo event has been a primary platform for semiconductor entrepreneurs to connect with China's investor community, organized by JW Insights and China Semiconductor Investment Alliance (CSIA).

The four companies that presented their projects on Thursday are Easy-Logic Technology Limited (奇捷科技深圳有限公司), InMicro Technology (英麦科厦门微电子科技有限公司), OrionChip (上海猎芯半导体科技有限公司) and Xi'an Zhisensor Technologies Co., Ltd. (西安知微传感技术有限公司).

The panel judges at the 2^nd demo session are Zhou Liangcheng, Vice President of IDG Capital (IDG资本); Liu Guangjun, Managing Director of Sunic Capital (临芯投资管理公司); Sun Hailong, Vice President of Investment of Walden International (华登国际). They all have rich experience in the semiconductor industry.

During the online meeting, the three judges gave professional comments on each project and exchanged ideas with the four participants.

The 2021 demo is open to projects with the need for before-B-series financing in IC design, semiconductor materials, equipment, AI, 5G communications, and related ICT industries. Over 80 semiconductor investment companies active in China's semiconductor industry will participate in the judging panel of this year's demo event. The voting for applicants to enter the final will start in late May, and the closed-door presentations and the final award ceremony will run in late June in Xiamen City.
